AT&T looks to combine home automation, M2M tech for health care

AT&T will work with Ericsson and other partners to widen its portfolio of health care products and services. The effort will involve the company's technology in home automation and machine-to-machine communications. "Like in the past, we're still enabling finished solutions, but also letting people tap into network resources and open infrastructure," AT&T's Nasrin Dayani said.
