China's increasing interest in wine is called no threat to U.S. supply

Recent conflicting reports about the possibility of a wine shortage have industry experts looking at China's rapid increase in wine consumption, which has surpassed that of the U.S. China is set to become the world's largest consumer of wine by 2016, but the country's per-capita wine consumption is still well below global levels and buyers' main focus is on superpremium collectible bottles.
