Diagnostic tool may aid in diagnosis of Parkinson's

A new sensory pen and software developed by MANUS Neurodynamica Ltd. has shown favorable results in detecting neurological signs of Parkinson's disease, showing clear differences between healthy controls and individuals with Parkinson's. By analyzing motion control and handwriting patterns, the pen may be able to determine whether a person is suffering from Parkinson's or another neurological condition before the onset of symptoms. DaTscan imaging will be used in clinical validation.
