Friday fact-check: Texas voter ID law isn't aimed at Wendy Davis

The Democratic Governors Association recently accused Texas Gov. Rick Perry of pushing a voter ID law in "a blatant effort to defeat Wendy Davis by disenfranchising tens of thousands of women voters." Only one problem: The measure was introduced two years before Davis emerged onto the statewide political scene. That makes the DGA's claim "both incorrect and ridiculous," writes W. Gardner Selby.
