House bill aims to ease veterans' transition to civilian life

Rep. Dina Titus, D-Nev., has sponsored legislation to help veterans transition to civilian life. The bill would include a grant program to create websites to connect veterans with potential employers, align and expand caregiver programs run by the Department of Defense and the Veterans Affairs Department, and offer spouses of fallen service members full tuition and fees to attend in-state colleges.
