How network complexity fuels the drive for automation

The proliferation of cloud computing and virtualization and the transition to IPv6 have added complexity to enterprise networks, making them more difficult to adequately secure, experts say. A poll of IT professionals in the U.S. and Britain found that a majority have had to adopt new practices and learn new technologies to meet current network standards. Analysts predict that security breakdowns will eventually be overcome by automation.
