JPMorgan disputes Washington Mutual costs in settlement

JPMorgan Chase continues to dispute with the Justice Department the legal agreement for the 2008 purchase of Washington Mutual that was part of a settlement to end mortgage-bond investigations. The disagreement stems from an attempt by the Justice Department to stipulate that the costs associated with the liquidation of the company should not be passed to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.
