Dionne and The New York Times' David Brooks, according to this report. The talks likely influence subsequent coverage of the White House. "The facts are off-the-record, but the sentiment is not," said NBC News' Chuck Todd. "When you know how the president thinks about something, when you understand his point of view, how do you avoid talking about it?"
