Rhino orphanage battling devastating tide of poaching

Rhinoceros poaching in South Africa has reached "catastrophic" proportions, with 704 animals poached this year alone as of the end of September. Pete Richardson of Legend Lodges, Hotels & Resorts, which built a facility for young rhinos that includes a customized veterinary facility and "ambulance" for the large animals, says female rhinos killed for their horns often leave juveniles behind who are left to die by poachers. Rhino orphanages like the one featured in this video care for the young until they can be reintroduced into the wild.
