Some types of pressure are good because they boost the production of the neurons in the brain and increase concentration, according to research at the University of California at Berkeley. "Without stress, I don't function well, which is awful but true," interior designer Heidi Tomkiewicz says. "I focus on it as a challenge -- an accomplishment I can be proud of when I finish the battle."
