Seven U.S. cities launch joint marketing effort

Aiming to better target affluent U.S. and U.K. tourists, seven U.S. cities have banded together to launch a joint international marketing campaign. The cities -- Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Seattle -- got $750,000 in funding from American Express to get the advertisement project rolling.
