Company to market lower-mercury fresh fish

Micro Analytical Systems Inc. says its large-scale testing system will allow it to market lower-mercury fish in grocery stores including California's Holiday Quality Foods. The company plans to label swordfish, salmon, flounder and other varieties with its "Safe Harbor" seal, but FDA officials worry that mercury content labeling will unduly alarm consumers.
