Stern's switch could be win-win for Infinity, Sirius

Top shock jock Howard Stern's January switch from Viacom's Infinity Radio to Sirius Satellite Radio could improve the bottom line for both outfits. Without Stern, Infinity will lose about 5% of revenue -- worth $100 million in 2005 -- but will save money with its cheaper roster of replacement talent, while Sirius has high hopes for a Stern-connected jump in market share.
