Nanotubes, radio waves used to kill cancer cells in rabbits

U.S. researchers have devised a technique using nanotechnology and radio waves to kill liver cancer cells in rabbits without causing any side effects. The procedure involves injecting single-walled carbon nanotubes into tumors and then exposing the nanotubes to radiofrequency treatment for two minutes, resulting in the thermal destruction of 100% of the tumors.
