New hotel brands for younger travelers slow to hit the market

Numerous major hotel companies are planning to launch new brands for a younger generation of guests, so those companies may want to speed things up if they want to get established and win loyalty in the market, writes a Hotel Business editor. Choice Hotels, for instance, launched its upscale Cambria Suites brand in January 2005, but to date only two are open, and the company has a ways to go if it expects to infiltrate the market.
