Teacher who aided Sudanese students is named a top teacher

An Australian teacher has won a Best National Achievement gong in the Australian Awards for Teaching Excellence -- in part for her work with Sudanese students. Tracey Anthony worked to close the divide between Sudanese students and their peers, and she has been dedicated to forming relationships with the Sudanese community in an attempt to help immigrant students.
