Airlines in talks with TSA to test self-tagging of bags

American Airlines, Delta Air lines and Air Canada said they are discussing the idea of allowing travelers to tag their own checked luggage with the Transportation Security Administration. Do-it-yourself bag tagging is common at foreign airports, but in the U.S., only airline agents are allowed to tag bags.
