City receives green light for altered rain garden design

The Design Review Board in Hartsville, S.C., has accepted the city's modified plan for a rain garden that was revised to accommodate the group's suggestions regarding the structure's walkway and the selection of plants. The new design will incorporate plants such as Stella day lilies, butterfly bush and crepe myrtles that will give the garden the look of a prairie, according to a city arborist.
