Engineers repair corroded Louisiana lift station

Engineers have repaired a Jefferson Parish wastewater treatment plant lift station in Louisiana that was threatened by corrosion. Workers water-blasted and abrasive-blasted the concrete to expose the aggregate, applied more than an inch of concrete repair material, then used an epoxy lining system to restore and protect the lift station from the corrosive environment.
