Private firm plans to build 500-year levee to protect Opryland

Private company Gaylord Entertainment says it intends to construct a levee to provide 500-year flood protection to the Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tenn. The firm's decision is spurred by the slow pace of talks with the Army Corps of Engineers to improve the flood-protection system in Nashville after the city was ravaged by severe flooding in May.
