Program spotlights the need to draw more women into IT

Women are still a small group within the IT and technology industry and the number is not going to change soon given less than 18% of current computer science degree-earners are female. To boost those numbers one female tech professional proposes introducing IT to students at a younger age and explains why she is a big advocate of the "Picture Me in Computing" effort to put a spotlight on the issue.
