Why e-portfolios help students learn

A secondary-school teacher in Northern Ireland says he has found that e-portfolios involving video and sound improve student learning. David Stinson says that by recording their work, students can learn from their mistakes. "By using video and audio diaries and much more besides, the kids can reflect on trials and tribulations they've encountered during the learning process," he said.
