Grandin encourages students with autism to overcome challenges

Autism expert and animal-behavior scientist Temple Grandin, who has autism, on Tuesday spoke to a group of students at the Spectrum Academy for those with the disorder in Salt Lake City. "I think one of the wonderful things that was gained is that the children (saw) that there's someone like them," Principal Annette Davis said. "It gives them hope that they too can overcome their challenges."
