ONC campaign on electronic health data privacy gears up

The Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT will survey 40,500 health professionals and consumers on issues such as the use of mobile devices to communicate health information, as part of its nationwide campaign to inform the public about the privacy and security of health data that is exchanged electronically. The data gathered will help shape the ONC's strategies, websites and messages, the agency said in a notice.
