Program aims to test medical devices for RFID emissions risk

MET Labs will roll out a program next month to test whether medical devices are at risk of harm from RFID emissions. The program, created in collaboration with the FDA and AIM Global's AIM Healthcare Initiative, will use devices submitted by manufacturers. Companies are asked to submit samples such as defibrillators and ECG machines for confidential testing.
