Texas A&M educates students on cattle industry care practices

Texas A&M coordinated an education event for veterinary and animal science students on how to handle livestock appropriately, focusing on health and welfare of the animals, during all stages of the production process. "[A]nimal welfare is among the most significant contemporary issues facing veterinary medicine and the animal industries," said Dr. Eleanor Green, dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M.
