Florida lawyers say injured workers have more advocates

The recent ruling by the Florida Supreme Court allowing attorneys who represent injured workers to be awarded "reasonable" fees is being called a boon for workers but an expense for taxpayers. The ruling may eradicate statewide reductions in workers' compensation insurance premiums, Florida Insurance Commissioner Kevin McCarty said.
