Minnesota offers grants for health care IT adoption

Twenty-one hospitals and ambulatory care centers will receive grants totaling $3.5 million from the Minnesota Department of Health. The grants are meant to help providers adopt health care IT practices in the state, which will require e-prescribing by 2011 and full EHR implementation by 2015.
