Federal report provides data on animal deaths from Gulf oil spill

More than 6,000 birds, 100 mammals and 600 sea turtles across Louisiana, Alabama, Texas, Florida and Mississippi have died from the recent oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, according to a report released by a government website. The report also details the number of oiled birds and wildlife that have been rescued.
