Republicans might try to roll back recent changes, groups say

Having obtained majority in the House of Representatives, Republicans are expected attempt to block or scale back changes in financial regulation and health care that are opposed by business, said Jay Timmons, senior vice president of the National Association of Manufacturers. Bruce Josten, a lobbyist for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, said Republicans' more ambitious objectives, such as repealing the health care law, probably won't get any further than "symbolic, messaging votes."
