Researchers say high glycemic load isn't tied to colon cancer risk

A 10-year study of 73,000 middle-aged and older Chinese women who consumed a diet high in carbohydrates found that dietary glycemic load does not affect the risk for colon cancer in women. The researchers said additional studies are needed.
