Rep. Frank urges Obama to make recess appointment for CFPB:

Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass., said that President Barack Obama should use his recess-appointment authority to name Richard Cordray as director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. The move would bypass the confirmation process in the Senate, where Republicans have said they will block any nominee to the position.
