Investors are mixed about managed-account platforms

Institutional investors are happy with improved control, transparency and liquidity of managed accounts run by hedge funds, compared with commingled funds, but don't like the fees, according to a survey by technology provider Opera Solutions. Among respondents saying the fees are too high are all of the foundations, half of the endowments, 42% of public pension plans and 30% of corporate pension funds.
