Restaurant operators in Iran imitate U.S. brands

A growing number of quickservice restaurants in Iran are imitating U.S. brands, sometimes choosing names that are close to those of U.S. chains such as Pizza Hat and Mash Donald's, and other times just using the chains' actual names such as Chipotle and Baskin-Robbins. "These are just individuals that came up with a bright idea and thought it would be great to emulate American franchises," Iranian-American Middle East analyst Holly Dagres said.
