Study links income with math background

Taking high-level math classes in high school makes people more likely to go to college and earn decent salaries, according to research done at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. "The more math one takes, the more one earns on average, and the more likely one is to have a job," wrote Jonathan James, a former researcher at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland.
