Developers reconsider Washington, D.C., office spaces

The effects of the Sept. 11, terrorist attacks and anthrax mailings and the future risk posed by war with Iraq are having repercussions on the sale of commercial real estate in the Washington, D.C., area. To ward off the negative perception, the Washington D.C. Marketing Center cites the region's robust economic activity and low office vacancy rate of 6.1%.
