USDA to tighten tests on Canadian meat imports

The USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service will implement tighter testing measures on Canadian meat for possible salmonella, listeria and E. coli contamination. The move comes amid concerns about testing practices of a Canadian firm that may have been the source of Topps Meat's recalled beef products.
