AT&T takes telehealth services into the cloud

AT&T today introduced a range of telehealth -- including mHealth -- services to help doctors monitor patient data and store the information in cloud-based platforms under a new area it termed AT&T ForHealth. The unit will provide information exchange, patient alert and monitoring systems as well as audio and video telemedicine from wireless, networking and cloud-based technologies.
