BSGI/MBI can measure tumor size more accurately than PET, MRI

Breast-specific gamma imaging/molecular breast imaging performed better than other imaging methods, including MRI and PET, in measuring tumor size in breast cancer patients who underwent neoadjuvant chemotherapy, according to a study. The finding suggests that BSGI/MBI can be a useful tool in measuring patient response to neoadjuvant chemotherapy.
