Chesapeake chief envisions vehicles fueled by natural gas

The use of liquefied natural gas as vehicle fuel is the "holy grail" for the industry, said Aubrey McClendon, CEO of Chesapeake Energy. Speaking at a conference, McClendon said the current gas surplus "should balance itself out" by the middle of the decade, and by then, the U.S. could have an improved infrastructure for gas production and shipment.
