Employee engagement can increase profits, productivity

Only 29% of employees are engaged at work, according to a recent Gallup survey. Low employee engagement costs companies $350 billion a year, writes M.J. Helms, but reversing this trend will lower turnover, increase productivity and build a positive corporate culture.
