Why job descriptions should be scrapped

Job descriptions should be abolished for many reasons, such as the fact they don't really define a job, but instead the people being recruited for the job, Lou Adler writes. Such practices not only deter good talent, they hurt employee satisfaction and increase turnover. "Why not fit the job to the person, rather than fit the person to a job?" he writes.
