College students head to grocery store for nutrition class

University of Louisville students learn about nutrition in the aisles of a grocery store from dietitian Karen Newton, who compares products and explains which are the better choices. Newton, who oversees the university's Office of Health Promotion, says counseling students showed her how much they did not know about shopping and cooking for themselves, so the Basic Pantry program teaches them how to make "healthy choices the easy choices.”
