Doctors think EHRs are safer than paper records, survey shows

Fifty-four percent of doctors said electronic health records are safer than paper records, with "access to records when needed" as the main advantage, according to a Practice Fusion survey conducted by GfK Roper. Among patients, 47% said paper records are safer and 39% said EHRs are safer, researchers said.
