More Miami-area students receive language training after school

Children in South Florida have opportunities to learn new languages at a growing number of after-school programs. For instance, Isabella and Ferdinand Academia de Español helps students learn about Spanish history and culture, besides Spanish reading, writing and speaking. Programs offered in the evenings or weekends also have been developed for French and Mandarin.
