Signs point to increased hiring of NPs

HealthECareers reported that job openings for nurse practitioners increased by 35% in the third quarter of 2012, while posts for physician assistants grew by 22%. A survey of health care executives found that 82.9% of respondents said they would be increasing hiring of nurse practitioners and physician assistants, according to a study by The Medicus Firm.
