AdvaMed advises India to harmonize medtech rules with global standards

A bill introduced in India that would acknowledge medical devices as different from drugs received support from AdvaMed. AdvaMed, however, proposed that the Indian government align its medical device regulations with the International Medical Device Regulators Forum and ISO to promote global competitiveness and ensure the highest safety and efficacy standards.
