CIA, N.Y. state drink to booming beverage industry

The Culinary Institute of America's Hyde Park campus hosted 200 people who attended the Hudson Valley Economic Development Corp.'s first Beer, Wine & Spirits Summit. The conference was dedicated to promoting growth in the beverage industry throughout the state, sharing updates on changing state regulations and learning about new cocktails mixed up by institute professors. "More and more of our graduates are attracted to beverage parts of our industry," said CIA President Tim Ryan.
