Delta and JetBlue are among the airlines taking advantage of the Federal Aviation Administration's relaxed rules for mobile-device use on domestic flights, which present an opportunity for marketers such as car rental companies to deliver timely ads to passengers. The airlines themselves are availing themselves of new technology by accepting in-flight payments with mobile readers and replacing pilot manuals with tablets.
