IHealth prepares for U.S. release of wireless glucose monitor

IHealth is gearing up for the U.S. launch of its Wireless Smart Gluco-Monitoring System. The FDA-approved device, which includes 50 test strips and a lancet, takes only five seconds to generate results using a small blood sample. The device uses Bluetooth to enable glucose monitoring and sharing on smartphones and tablets, and transmits those readings to physicians remotely via the company's cloud network.
